nanoMAG® LLC, a medical device and engineered biomaterials manufacturer, is developing and commercializing its bioabsorbable BioMg® alloy for Craniomaxillofacial implant applications. By using a bioabsorbable metal alloy designed specifically for temporary implants, our devices provide adequate reinforcement while avoiding complications associated with current implants made of permanent metal alloys and bioabsorbable polymers.
Although our primary focus is the Craniomaxillofacial implant market, we have opportunities across many biomedical applications, which include various orthopedic, dental, and vascular devices.
nanoMAG development projects have been sponsored by the following contracts:
nanoMAG® LLC is a subsidiary of Thixomat Technologies LLC, a company with more than 25 years’ experience in the research, development and marketing of technologies for the manufacturing of products utilizing magnesium alloys.
nanoMAG is comprised of the same team that led the successful global business of Thixomat, resulting in more than 50 Thixomat licenses in 13 countries globally.
Building on the 25-year success of Thixomat, which pioneered injection molding of light-weight, high-strength magnesium alloys and components, nanoMAG was created to commercialize the proprietary BioMg® technology developed with the University of Michigan. Our magnesium technology experts have teamed with professionals from the medical technology and healthcare industries to commercialize BioMg®.
nanoMAG has executed its first BioMg® commercial license for specific applications with Magnesium Development Company (MDC). Through this exclusive worldwide license, MDC is developing BioMg® interference screws for anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) repair, along with other applications in knee and shoulder sports medicine, and foot and ankle fixation.
nanoMAG has highly skilled and innovative people with experience in magnesium alloy and medical device design, development, and manufacturing. Through strategic partnerships with medical device manufacturers, researchers, and universities, nanoMAG is bringing to market a new generation of medical devices.
The management team for nanoMAG consists of experienced business and technical professionals complemented by CMF Medical Advisory Board and a Board of Directors.

nanoMAG has opportunity for investors seeking to participate in the growth and development of our company. The innovative products being developed at nanoMAG are aimed at the $50 Billion and growing global market for craniomaxillofacial and orthopedic implants which could return substantial value to our investors.
Our BioMg® alloy gives us a strong competitive advantage over other bioabsorbable metal alloys with its composition containing all natural nutrients. By using a biocompatible alloy with a properly controlled absorption rate, our implants are designed to provide temporary structural reinforcement, while avoiding complications associated with current permanent metal and resorbable polymer implants.
BioMg® technology is designed to reduce implant procedure times, reduce long-term complications, and eliminate secondary surgeries to bring value to patients and health care providers.
